Dr. Nora Esram is a nationally recognized leader in energy efficiency and sustainability. She has launched major initiatives in building energy ratings, connected homes, healthy buildings, electrification, and embodied carbon, collaborating with over 400 organizations. She has published 60 peer-reviewed papers and delivered more than 300 presentations at public events. Prior to joining NBI, she served as Senior Director of Research at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), overseeing programs in Buildings, Industry, Transportation, Behavior, and Health. Previously, she was Chief Engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), leading building technologies R&D for over a decade.
