Join us in celebrating Wagdy Anis FAIA, a pioneer in building science whose ‘Wagdy Wall’ transformed how we design energy-efficient buildings. His 50-year career at Shepley Bulfinch, Wiss Janney Elstner, and his own firm inspired the Wagdy Anis Symposium on Building Science. As Greta Eckhardt AIA Emeritus said, ‘While Wagdy is best known for his promotion of controlling air leakage in buildings through the use of a continuous barrier, he also was committed to many other aspects of producing sustainable buildings, and contributed significantly to development of building enclosure performance and commissioning standards.’ Learn more about his legacy and the 2025 Symposium this October 9th at Architects.org.
